WorldWind Blue Marble Next Generation beats GE?

Open Source Community

It looks like the open source community has done it again!

Developers for NASA's Open Source WorldWind http://worldwind.arc.nasa.gov/ today announced that WorldWind already has support for the next generation Blue Marble imagery.

The plugin is released at the WW user community website,
WorldWind Central http://worldwindcentral.com/.

As of last check, Google Earth had not yet announced support for this imageset.
